Take Shape
Campaign
In 2022, Teach First wanted to refresh its recruitment campaign and create a story that really connected with potential teacher trainees. As Lead Designer, I developed the campaign concept, “Take Shape”, inspired by a tangram puzzle. Using bold brand shapes and playful imagery, the campaign showed how Teach First helps candidates grow and become the people they’re meant to be, all while reflecting the charity’s mission to build a fair education for all. Highlights included concept development, OOH advertising, brochure animation, and data visualisation.
I led the creative direction, designing striking visuals, crafting animated graphics for the recruitment brochure, and creating adaptable assets for different audiences. The results were outstanding: the campaign generated 11,000 applications in just a few months (up from 3,000 the previous year!) and earned fantastic feedback from stakeholders, demonstrating both the impact of the campaign and the capabilities of the in-house team.
